How we based our title sequence on a true story?

When we started thinking about ideas for out title sequence we knew we wanted to revolve our story around someone going missing. So when we were looking for ideas we researched on the internet loads of missing boy cases. We then found one boy called Etan Patz who is the boy that we have on our missing poster that we used to burn. He disappeared in 1979 which was the time that we wanted to set our title sequence in. We decided to base our title sequence on a true story because it would make the film more interesting and the audience would be intrigued in our title sequence.
